Hi,
I have a couple of questions.
I have existing infrastructure within our organisation that use non-ip phones (A Siemens hi-path 3550 system with HG 1500 card for VOIP access), can I run 3CX along side the Siemens system, and bridge both systems, so that non IP deskphones can call 3CX extensions ?

Also, I have installed 3CX on a Hyper-V Windows 2008 R2 64bit machine, if I run a 3CX softphone from my PC it does appear in the list of phones in the management console, but if I run it from my Android Nexus S, then it doesn't appear.
And either way I cannot see the approve button to allow the connection.

All on the same LAN internal, with all firewalls turned off.

Any advice appreciated.

Bridging of legacy (analogue) systems and 3CX can be done using ATA's and Gateways. Depending on what you are trying to do (how complicated) it can be fairly simple or can get a bit messy. What really tends to mess things up is not calling back and forth, but access to outside trunking (the same trunks), at the same time on both systems, incoming and outgoing.

I haven't bridged HiPath with 3cx, but with other systems like Panasonic IP PBX.
Generally you should be able to do this with older firmware of HG1500 card -- may be the last working is version 74 or 75.
Newest firmwares will not allow bridging with other systems than Siemens.
