Sorry, I am new at this and I have searched everywhere to get this working. Want to buy if I can get it to work. I have a Grandstream 4104 and Grandstream GPX 2000 phones. No firewall, I have actually uninstalled and started over. I still have the same problem. I set outbound rule for 91 strip the first two numbers for a long distance call or it could be local if dialed. I receive incoming calls with no problem. I just can't make outbound callls. I have followed all configurations and tried different settings. It seems that the server wants to make a SIP call to the server instead of forwarding to the port on the Gateway. I am totally lost, since I have gone over the settings several times and also re-installed everything. I am at home now but when I get in tomorrow I will send the server logs when attempting to make calls from the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way I meant to say these are all PSTN lines.
Thanks

Hi there

We used to have this problem in the past... normally was because we could not reach our VOIP provider's server and all this was due to the RTP port configuration in our router (gateway) of our office.

Have you checked if they are redirected correctly to your PBX System?

Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply, but I cannot find a problem there.

Here is the server log when attempting to make an outbound call:

08:33:15.399 [CM503008]: Call(8): Call is terminated

08:33:15.336 [CM503015]: Call(8): Attempt to reach <sip:[email protected]> failed. Reason: Not Found

08:33:15.336 [CM503014]: Call(8): No known route to target: <sip:[email protected]>

08:33:13.727 [CM503010]: Making route(s) to <sip:[email protected]>

08:33:13.399 [CM505001]: Ext.100: Device info: Device Identified: [Man: Grandstream;Mod: GXP Series;Rev: General] Capabilities:[reinvite, no-replaces, unable-no-sdp, recvonly] UserAgent: [Grandstream GXP2000 1.1.6.44] Transport: [sip:192.168.1.102:5060]

08:33:13.227 [CM503001]: Call(8): Incoming call from Ext.100 to <sip:[email protected]>

I have worked the entire day working on this and have found out that inbound calls come in through the gateway and are registered in the logs. When doing anything from the server it cannot connect to the gateway. Is this a problem with not purchasing the software? I have changed RTP ports and everything else I can think of and still not able to 3CX to communicate with the gateway except like I said it communicates with inbound calls. When rebooting everything it shows in the logs that it connects to all other devices except the gateway. I am using a 4104 with Grandstream 2000 phones but the phones don't seem to be the problem. I have set outbound rules where 91 sends to the fxo port virtual extension 10000 and yet it fails. I will be doing some sniffing on the system to find out waht is going on and will post. Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind I was able to get everything working perfectly. It was a problem with my outbound rule. One little digit messed everything up. DUH!
