I recently setup a Fanvil X5U-v2. I set a custom admin PIN code to access the advanced settings on the phone, configured the static IP. Then did the auto configure to connect to our 3CX system. We are unable to access the phones web interface because I misentered the subnet mask in network settings. This SHOULD be a simple fix to go into advanced settings on the phone but the auto provisioning overwrote our admin PIN (*NOT COOL*) - what's more while the 3CX dashboard will show the admin password for the web interface but nowhere does it seem to show what it changed this PIN code to for us to fix the network settings. Unless I'm missing something and there's somewhere to get the new PIN code.
So I was trying to factory reset the phone, but rebooting it while holding down # (like the internet says to do) does not enter POST mode where I can factory reset it. But it puts it in recovery mode where I can upload new firmware which is NOT helpful. So I am at a loss of what to do to fix my phone now. All because you felt the need to change my admin PIN and lock me out of my phones settings.
