cannot make conference call

we are using 3CX SMB PRO hosted by 3cx. and android version 20.1.0.24 on smartphones. During an active call with an external caller, I want to pull in a colleague to make this into a conference call. I press the Conference button and input colleague's extension. This puts the first call on hold. The colleague answers and this creates the conference call in the past. Now, this creates a second separate call and there is not a way to join the two calls together with me?

This pertains to the Android application. You should have posted this in the Android category.

Regardless, when someone presses on Conference and wants to add someone, they need to press the blue text at the top (Add ______).

thanks for your reply. We tried to look for the blue text above but didnt see it on the Android phone.app. Doing the same steps works from the desktop though.

Same Android app version ? Same OS version ? Same Android Model ?

Yes, all same versions. We tried again and were able to see the blue text that you mentioned and we could conference. It could be that the version got updated, Thank you for telling us about the blue text so we could know to look for it. Seems like some extra steps now to conference compared to before.
