I am using FlowRoute as a trunking provider. Since we have our account locked to IP addresses instead of SIP Registration, we use an account prefix before each number. So for example, when dialing 8005555555, our call will look like 6546354654654*8005555555. This is done with a prepend rule in our outbound rules. When receiving calls on the soft phone app, they work as they should. When making the calls, the dialed calls include the prepended account number as well as the dialed number. This makes it hard to redial without manually entering the phone number again. Also, it's a security issue having our dialing passphrase visible to end-users that use the soft phone. Anyone with that number and access to the network can use our trunking provider to make as many calls as they would want.
