I have been able to setup messaging for my first extension working fine. I tried setting up a new extension with a another DID with same exact setup and I keep getting "Missing required parameter (10004): Invalid source number."

Let me know what I could be missing. Thank you!

This sounds like Telnyx (judging from the error you are getting...) doesn't like something with the "from" number.
In your Management Console --> Messaging, edit your SMS provider, in the "Routes" tab, are all the numbers entered in e164 format?
Also, no spaces, dashes, parenthesis in between the numbers. All must start with the '+', followed by the number.

Correct any mistake if there is one there, then in Users, edit your extension and in the General tab, right at the bottom, in the "Enable SMS" drop-down, have you selected a valid SMS number?

[EDIT]
You said that you have 1 number that is working sending and receiving. Is that on the same system?

HI Nick,
Yep the phone number is in +1xxxxxxxxxx format in the Messaging Route (exactly like I have the first route setup that works).

Also, I have the "Can send SMS via" option set to the Messaging Profile..

Still getting the errors.. also cannot receive sms..

The first working number is on the same system, just on a separate sip trunk.
Let me know what else I can check. Thank you for your help!

Nevermind I figured it out. Silly Mistake! I had one of the phone numbers incorrect. Oops. Sorry to bother and thank you for your help!! Have a wonderful day!

Excellent!

Glad to got it figured out.
FYI, for other that might be reading this post, this and similar errors come directly from Telnyx:
https://developers.telnyx.com/docs/api/v2/overview

If you see similar errors, they usually give you a clue as to what has been misconfigured in the Telnyx portal and/or 3CX Management Console.
