Can't Answer Call on Polycom vvx 500

Just set up a new self hosted in google cloud. Everything works great on the app/desktop stuff and I can see calls ring into my polycom SIP phone, but when I pick up the handset or press the answer button, the call does not connect. I can also call out from the polycom phone just fine.

Any ideas why I can't pick up inbound calls?

1. Have you installed a 3CX SBC (or router phone) first?

2. And when you were setting up the Polycom, did you pick to connect via SBC?



This is a requirement otherwise phones may misbehave, or not work at all.
