Hi ,

I had a working license for a couple of phones and everything worked fine.
I deleted a user from 3cx customer dashboard, and I think the license was linked to this user.
After that, it became impossible to connect to the 3cx GUI. Only way is to SSH with local tunnel to port 5001

The firewall does not block any incoming connection to 5001
The debian iptables does not have any traffic blocked to 5001

It's just that it won't accept remote connections. Only local ones.
Could a revoked license explain this ?

Thank you.

I just realized I validated my message too fast. 3CX of course, and not 2CX ..

On the other hand, I can connect to https://my.own.fqdn:5001 , while https://xx.yy.3cx.us:5001 is not working.

Any fix for this ?

There is an error message on the dashboard saying that the fqdn configured at the installation time is not linked to the license key currently activated.. how did this happen ? It worked fine when I installed it.

Hello,

At this URL (with my 3cx.us prefix), the page just times out.
If I go to my server fqdn though, this page shows me the URL of the page which ... well.. does not work :/

ping the server that works, you will get an ip address back from that ping. lets say it is 192.168.11.22

edit your hosts file on your comptuer, \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and add this line:

192.168.11.22 whateveryourfqdnis.3cx.us

then check 3cx to see what is going on with your fqdn:

https://whateveryourfqdnis.3cx.us:5001/#/app/settings/network/1/fqdn

Hi -
The server has a public address. The ping works.
The thing is that the FQDN I have from 3cx is NOT registered anywhere. By deleting a user from my company, it took the 3CX FQDN with it. My reseller account does not show this FQDN. I guess this issue needs to be resolved with the help of their technical support. On the top of that, it says the license is revoked, probably because it was link to this one user.

thanks for the help. I will try to see with my sales rep. if he can help.

What is the answer of a ping on FQDN? are you coming on your 3CX IP adress?

if you use nslookup command what result do you have ?
example : nslookup fqdn

Hello @jst07719

Check your costumer portal and see if the licence key you are using is linked to that FQDN. If it is not then a DNS entry would not exist to point the FQDN to your public IP. Talking to your sales representative is the best course of action in this case.

My customer portal shows no FQDN at all.
nslookup resolves an IP address, but it is not pingable.

I will contact my sales representative, and will come back here if I get no answer.
Thank you.

Can anyone share their sales rep in USA / East coast ?

Ok what ip it is? yours? should be your Public static IP where 3CX is installed. If not pingable can be restrictions from your router settings or internet provider.

MY FQDN / IP where 3CX is hosted works fine.
The 3CX provided FQDN is the one not working. Resolvable, but not reachable. Regardless of the IP address I am coming from (USA, Europe, Asia...)
