i can't dial numbers starting with * .
how to configure it?

Look at the activity log,

I can dial *** but the trunk has an issue with the number:
12/02/2019 2:44:45 PM - [Line:10002>>***] is terminated: Cause: 503 Service Unavailable/INVITE from #######:5060

Look at your outbound rules

If the number beginning with * isn't being intercepted by the set, or 3CX, as a star code, and your provider accepts it as a valid number, then, as mentioned, you have to have outbound rules to match the number.

A stupid French user question, what is interest (the use) to call something begining with a *?

In israel it's very fashionable and profitable to sell numbers like
*3123
Or *1122 etc
They easy to remember, and great as marketing.

Now about the fix which rule I should create?

Is this some sort of speed dial service (as noted here... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_numbers_in_Israel ), or numbers meant only to be called from mobile phones?
I'm not certain that non-numeric characters , can be used in the outbound rules.Even a leading + is converted in the e164 rules.
In North America, any star code numbers (vertical services) that need to be dialled, can be done substituting 11 for the star. This was introduced to allow rotary phones to dial star codes. You might ask your provider if there is another way to dial these calls. I can't say that I have seen this come up before in the forums.

There have been * and ** numbers in North America for a while, but they can only be accessed by mobile phones. https://www.bizjournals.com/bizjour.../02/mobile-vanity-phone-number-star-star.html

Hi @strelok89

go to settings and look at the dial codes.

You will notice the star is being used by the system to detect commands VS dialling numbers.

If the command it detected, then the number will never reach the trunk.
