When trying to call a saved contact with a phone number that has an extension, i.e.:

(555) 555-5555 x5555

The call will fail because of the extension "x5555" at the end. If you try and manually delete the "x5555" on the dialpad before calling, the auto-complete feature immediately adds it back in, and the call fails again.

Because of this, we can't can't figure out how to call any contacts who have extensions listed in their phone numbers.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

The phone application has to know that the characters after the "main" number are to be sent by DTMF. While the native phone application on a mobile, can do this (in most cases), I suspect that the 3CX app cannot. Others may have a work-around, but if additional digits cannot be dialled, after a pause, then you might consider making it a feature suggestion, in the Ideas forum.
