Solved cant make outgoing calls

I am having a problem with making outgoing calls using a gamma trunk, incoming are working great even to my soft phone when out of the office but when I go to make an outgoing call it fails with the phone reporting 404 not found. the trunk is verified by IP so no username or password I am assuming it a problem with the sip headers but am at a loss on what to check now. I am using the latest version of 3cx loaded on a windows 10 machine in my office with a draytek router with all the ports forwarded and a static public IP

If you have an oubounfd rules properly set, and you have searched in log in verbose what happens when you try outbound call, May be you need to contact your sip provider and ask them what's wrong or what you need to add your settings to get it working.

Where is the 404 coming from? Check the Activity Log. Is the call being sent to your provider, and they are giving that response? If so, then they don't like the number (format) you are sending..Review the digits being sent. Does the call even match an outbound rule?

Are you sure the invite is reaching the provider? That would be a good thing to check first.

You may look at the logs to see if you matched any outbound rules first, and if so, you can see whether the invite is sent out and what the reply is.

thanks for the advise the problem has been solved it was a issue with the provider configuration at there end.
