Running 3CX V18 461. Debian

When creating a new extension I cannot send a welcome email.

When sending from a pre-existing extension after changing the recipients email to the same as was used in the new extension I can receive the welcome email.

Tested SMTP server, yes works.

Tested using automatic send, yes it's set to do this in mail notifications, not received.
Tested using manual send, not received.

Which logs can I check. I see in 3CXSystemService.log the email is being created.

Hi @greychain,

How are you creating the new extensions? Are you copying any other extensions when creating new ones?

Can you create a brand new extension with that email address that isn't working, but add nothing else. Just add an email address and click okay. Do you receive the Welcome Email?

Also, if you can check your parameters, do you have the parameter: MAILTEMPLATE_EXTWELCOME_CUSTOM ?

Done this "Can you create a brand new extension with that email address that isn't working, but add nothing else. Just add an email address and click okay. Do you receive the Welcome Email?" no, can not get email.

Customer is using a custom template.

Deleted the custom template and now it is working. It only fails on new extensions using custom template, but worked on existing extensions using the custom template.
