Hello,

Is there a easy way to make a cascade like this: Without to make 6 groups per extention for 36 user.
Day Ext 3101 -> rings 60 sec -> 3011 and 3101 -> rings 25 sec -> 3014, 3011 and 3101 -> rings 25 sec -> 3010, 3014, 3011 and 3101-> rings 300 sec -> end call
Night Ext 3101 -> rings 60 sec -> 3011 and 3101 -> rings 25 sec -> 3014, 3011 and 3101 -> rings 300 sec -> end call
Break Ext 3101 -> rings 60 sec -> 3014 and 3101 -> rings 300 sec -> end call

I can only think for 6 ring groups rings all.

Regards,
Casper

RGs will work yes. That's the only way.

What you could do is set up a Dummy extension that controls the routing, so during the day route to one cascade of RGs, and during the night another. Control them by controlling the dummy extension's status.

The use of dummy i understand but is not necessary because you can control it on the extenion also. The amount of RGs (216 total of all ext) doesn't change.

Sure you can, maybe I misunderstood the core problem here. I've not been able to see a way of doing it without having at least 5 RGs in play at once. If the problem is to reduce the number of RGs that the first extension is in, then I don't believe it's possible.

How long do you expect a caller to listen to ringback, if the call is not answered in the first or second ring group? Most people expect a call to be answered in about 30 seconds, before giving up, unless they understand, in advance, that they have to be patient.

I have to say @leejor does have a point, even if the caller does wait, there's a good chance the SIP Provider will end the call before it manages to go through the whole call flow so you might want to consider changing it up a bit or at least test this out with an external call once you've set this up.

@leejor Both have a point. how ever this is a center for healt care for older people. So the callers are waiting and the SIP Provider let it even call for 10 min.
But i understand your replies mosty it is to long
