For CDR - please add a Field "to-did" - would be important for Tracking Marketing effectiveness.
As described here: post175796.html

Feature Description:
We need to track DIDs for Marketing Effectiveness Tracking.
Every Advertisement we do got its own DID.
Within 3CX incoming Rules are configured 012345678* (Number + *) - so all of those Marketing DIDs are Routed to the same Queue.
Now my Problem is that I don't see the called DID (called Number) within the CDR nor within the LOGs ... it just shows me the Extension of the reached Queue/Phone which picked the call - but never the *called number* / *called DID*
We can't create an incoming Rule/Extension for every DID used for Marketing as they change to often / are way too much / often are not known outside Marketing Dept. (Thousands/Ten Thousands of Numbers ...)

Thank you

we are just preparing an offer for a local Call-Center where excactly this Feature would be needed (again ..)
Any chances to get this Feature in or not?

Please give us at least some Feedback on this ...

thx

1,5 years - and not even some kind of Feedback ... that's really a shame ... :-(

We have several companies that need to track their inbound DID. We did a work around by pointing them to a RG first - then you can filter the report by that RG number. This works but is a huge pain when companies have mutiple numbers to track. I had one client that stated they can easily see where each call comes from on their vonage login account, why can you not do this with 3cx. This seems like a basic thing that customers want but never gets a high vote. I am not sure why because we have a targeted service industry that we could easily sell the systems if we could track the calls. I wish this would get higher attention.

any news on that please? It's over 2 years now and not a single comment from 3cx?!?

You can make a small change to your inbound rule to solve this issue. Put the DID (phone number) in the "Name" field of the inbound rule. Then when you look in the CDR you will see something like this:

68617 1 10003 920988XXXX 8016424655:Cell Phone WI 0

I called 8016424655 (my office number) from my cell phone 920988XXXX. Adding the name to the inbound rule prepends the DID number to the caller ID name in the display_name field. It is easy to parse out this number simply by looking for the ":". If you need help automating the import of CDR data into SQL or MySQL, take a look at our Exporter tool. It can automate the entire process for you.

+1 to this idea. Should be able to pull DID infos from CDRs. We are trying to automate some reports and we arent interested in which extension received the call, but rather which number was called. If a customer have 10 different DID, with multiple of them pointing to the same IVR, we need to know which DID specifically was dialed to provide proper reports.

@voiptoys While that's a decent workaround, it creates a visual problem for customers. It can become confusing, and also just not overall pretty visually, to see a bunch of numbers bundled together.

Example: 920988XXXX:8016424655 [+1920988XXXX]

Edit: On that topic though... Is it possible to just simply hide the Inbound rule's name from caller IDs? It's not really pretty visually either to see the name of the inbound rule when someone is calling you/in the queue manager. If it'd be possible to completely hide the inbound rule name from Caller IDs, then that workaround would prove useful.
