Hello there,

Currently, we have a SIP trunk with 2 DIDs. One is used as a general number, and the other should be used as a private (emergency) number. I have routed our general DID to our main IVR menu, which can be seen on this screen here. And i also tried to assign an inbound rule to the other (emergency) number, as shown on this screen here. But both DIDs end up routed at the main IVR menu...

What am I overlooking here?

I found this similar thread https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/did-to-extension-not-working.68242
but im not seeing the solution in my case.

Check how your number is presented in the TO: sip field when it arrives from the provider and ensure that the DID matches the income number format.

You can check this from the Activity log within the management console when the logging is set to verbose logging mode or check this guide on how to check from the log viewer and Wireshark:https://www.3cx.com/docs/3cx-log-viewer/

Additionally, check the following screenshot and check what is configured for the inbound parameters within the trunks settings for the section highlighted below and ensure it is as the screenshot and set to 'To: User Part'.

I can't thank you enough!

It was 1234567890 instead of the +1234567890 format.

One problem solved and only one more to go.
