Hello 3CX community,

I am currently facing an issue with renewing my certificate and accessing the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of my self-hosted 3CX system using my Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Here are the specifics of the problem:

  1. Certificate Renewal: I am uncertain about the steps involved in renewing my certificate for the 3CX system. Could someone please provide guidance on how to go about this process? I want to ensure that my system has a valid and up-to-date certificate.
  2. GUI Access via Self-Hosted FQDN: When attempting to access the 3CX GUI using my FQDN, I encounter an error or cannot establish a connection. However, I can still access the GUI using the public IP address. What could be causing this issue and how can I restore the ability to access the GUI via my FQDN?
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or insights from the knowledgeable members of the 3CX community. Thank you for your time and support!

Best regards,

Sigma

2. When you ping the FQDN, what IP address is returned? If it's the same as the public IP (which it almost certainly is not), then you might have some sort of filter on the machine that's blocking the name and not the IP. If it's different, why can't you route to that address? Do you have an internal firewall that needs to be adjusted?

no , its the certificate, it expired,. Is there no easier way, I'll have to run a separate server to do all this

Are you talking about the cert 3CX uses for activation or the SSL cert installed on your PBX?

What does the firewallcheck do? Everything ok? Did you configured the portforwarding correct?
