CFD App to call external number and press "1"

I need some assistance with making a CFD app.

We need to take an internal call, route it to the CFD app, then have the app call an external number, wait a few seconds, press one, and then connect the two calls together.

We need this because the call is coming from a door phone that does not have a keypad on it and the external call service requires us to press "1" to connect to someone.

Can anyone help?

I don't think this is possible with the Call Flow Designer. While you can initiate calls (MakeCall) and transfer calls, I don't think you can send DTMF, or join calls.

As DTMF is an audio tone could you play the tone? I guess it would also depend on the DTMF implementation.

This will not work in most cases, as the audio encryption removes the high frequencies, and the tone is not identifiable on the other end. Also, some endpoints don't pay attention to DTMF tones in the audio stream, as those should be sent as RFC2833 events.
