I have a CFD project running which is using Google cloud speech services.

When the caller states the name of the branch or the type of service they require the call is then transferred as per a C# code script.

This is working really well for the most part. However, one of their branches is based in Ely, a city in Cambridgeshire UK.

When stating "ely" the call rarely gets through to it's planned destination. It mostly goes to the 'catch all' destination (064) at the bottom of the script as it can't find a match.

Below are some of the lines from my script;

var recognizedTextLowerCase = recognizedText.ToLower();
if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("place order"))
return "054";
else if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("ely"))
return "061";
else if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("speak to someone"))
return "054";
else if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("online"))
return "054";
else if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("telesales"))
return "054";
else if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("complain"))
return "052";
else if (recognizedTextLowerCase.Contains("not happy"))
return "052";
else
return "064";

Is there anything else I can do? I imagine it's an issue with Google's engine but thought i'd check on the 3CX forum first.

You can enable verbose logs, run a test call and check the 3CXCallFlow.log file. In this file you will see the recognized text returned by Google. That will give you some hints on what you should be expecting for that city.
