Change another extension's status

Is there a way to program a softkey on a phone to change the Available / Out of Office status on another extension?

If so, what would the dial code be?

Without having the extension present on the device from which you are trying to change the status, it cannot be done using just a dial code. However, provided that you know the extension's voice mail PIN, you can change the extension's status by going into voice mail for the extension of interest, and then once in, press 9 for the options followed by a 1 get to the change status menu.
