Hi,
how can I change the FQDN used for video conferencing? I've got a professional license and am hosting on-premise on Linux, version 20.0 (Build 1620). I tried to "change" it via a reverse proxy but 3CX somehow detects this and redirects to the PBX FQDN. When I change the WEBMEETING_FQDN to the proxy FQDN, it still redirects to the PBX FQDN. Is there a way to use a different FQDN for webmeetings?
If not, how can I change the PBX FQDN? I found here https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/fqdn-change.86109/ and here https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/v20-change-fqdn.124814 that you have to reinstall the PBX from scratch and cannot use a backup because the license with FQN is stored in the backup.
This must be a joke, I cannot reconfigure everything manually just to change form myuglypbxhostname.example.com to mybeautifulpbxhostname.example.com. It would take me two days to do so during which the PBX is unusable.
Is it not sufficient so simply change the FQDN in all parameters and in the 3CX portal?
Thanks in advance!
