Hi there,

I am in the process of creating a failover site for my 3CX server and up to now everything is going well except the FQDN change.

I would like to know whether there is a way to force change the FQDN IP from passive site to primary site without restarting any services in primary site.
The reason is that in rare cases passive node lost connectivity with primary site and FQDN changed to passive node while active node was fine.

Thank you!

Would like to know more about this as well! Did you find your answer?

No answer yet.

The only thing that I may discovered is that usually I am losing connectivity during backup/upload to GDrive.

But still no way of forcing FQDN back to my Primary site

That is also happening to me. I attempted to move the timing of the backup, I’m hoping I see more consistent results by doing it at like 1:45am vs midnight.

Ive noticed that after the backup server becomes active, the failover options have the backup server listed as Active. I’m wondering if manually changing that to passive will trigger the change... I’m waiting for a good time to test with out disrupting the business.
