Change hold music to ringing when going into call queue?

Hi all,

Our customer would like for inbound callers to hear ringing when they select a menu option and go into the call queues, at the moment it plays music until someone answers. Please can someone advise if this can be changed to ringing instead of music?

I suspected it might be the below but would still want there to be hold music when they put callers on hold so didn't want to change it?

Hi @MPServeline,

Changing that option in your screenshot will do exactly that. Just be aware that placing the call on hold will use the General MOH option set on the PBX.

Thanks Vasilis, I set it to nothing and there wasn't any ringing or music at all so I assume I'd need to choose one of the below?

Yes you select the wav file you want to play,

If you click on Manage, Play - you can hear the wav file on a extension

You can also upload your own wav file to play, by click on the Add icon to the right.

Thanks Saqqara, It sounds like the one called Gadzooks there in the list is the same as normal UK ringing.

Someone has uploaded Gadzooks . as this is not a standard wav file installed
