We have a 3cx failover setup with a generic sip trunk. During failover the sip trunk should use the ip address of the failover 3cx server in the 'Select which IP to use in 'contact' (SIP) and 'connection'(SDP) fields.
Now I configured 'Used this IP address' and filled in the local ip address of the primary 3cx server. When we select, 'Local IP Address (OS Default Route)' -> the wan ip is used. (see attachment)
