Change order of Codes for Windows Desktop App

I just saw that the 3cxconfig file contains a section called codecs. Is my assumtion correct that after any change of the codecs for an extension in the management console a new 3cx.config file has to be send out to the users in oder to make those changes become active?

Hi @VSC,

When you change the order in the management console, you only need to reprovision the Desktop App from within the Web Client and it'll have the new order you've customized.

I meant the 3CX Windows Client (Legacy).

Does it not pick up the setting on app restart or some other time?

Hi @VSC,

After reordering the codecs in Settings >> Codecs, resend a Welcome Email for the extension and use it to reprovision. The order should be changed.
