Hello,
we have diescovered, that UPD packages, we exchange with our trunk provider - Peoplefone Germany - sometimes are not reaching our 3CX system.
it was discovered, that the UDP communications seems to be fragmented in this case. In the past we had been able to set the protocoll to use between the Trunk Provider and the 3CX system. Is there a way we can change this in V20 from UDP to TCP?

You need to export the trunk, change the parameter and import again or use the api to change this.

The transport method is defined from the provider themselves in the template they have provided us.

To change this, you have a choice of modifying the template. Export it and reimport it.

Rather than change this, why not try to figure out why they are being fragmented. If this is an on premises system you would need to check your firewall configuration.

Modifying the template away from the defaults will put the provider out of the scope of support though.

Peoplephone is often asking to change this to tcp in this case. We had also one customer with this problem.

yes, the recommendation went in from Peopefone. I was able to export the config of the trunk, but not seeing an import funktion to load the changed xml file.

You need to delete your trunk and import it back here: 1732097989791.png

Keep in mind that you need to configure the trunk from scratch incl. dids.

How can we change from UDP to TCP without to configure the trunk from scratch?!?
There a so many DIDs and Routing-Points configured.. We don't want to make the work again for configuration.

We have edited the provider xml files via cli on linux. And changed the parameter to TCP. Restarted the 3cx server, but the trunk still uses UDP.

I have no knowledge how to use an API.. I'm not a programmer.
But I found here in the forum a solution with the Debug setting.
