Changes and increase pricing

I went to renew our membership. There was 19% increase in price. I press renew but the system would not come up. When I email in I was told i have to add hosting and that there was increase in pricing. When I try to add hosting it wanted for 5 users $1000 Euros. This would mean that I have a near 350% increase in pricing. When I respond I was simply told to add hosting. I provided the back up to them and asked to justify the changes or increase and was reiterated to add pricing or log a help desk support ticket for $160. Pay a support ticket to justify your pricing.......WOW.

I have used 3CX for 3 years now and would see a slight increase every year but to suggest an increase that high without any comment or justification is outrageous.

What has changed and why?

I am not sure where you get this prices... Where is your pbx installed and what licence do you have?

It was pricing that pops up when you say add hosting

We are webclient. less than 6 users. Pro version

Now it shows 470 but does not indicate it would credit the 440 previously paid so that would suggest it is now $910 which is a 200% increase

You sure youre not buying a new license rather then a renewal?

Are you self hosted or is 3CX hosting you?

even at a new license.. 8SC Pro with hosting is €645 so you're doing something wrong

I would contact your partner to solve this situation. Its not nearly that expensive like you said.

the renewal was done and hosting was not added.

So the hosting is expired. Hosting can only be added when there is a license renewal.

The price you are seeing is for an additional year, plus 2 years of hosting, to cover this year that doesnt have hosting and the additional one.

The guy from 3CX is now saying that he told me to "upgrade" not renew but it was their portal that actually did the renew. Just trying to get our system back up
