Hello together,

since we use 3CX (2018) there is a little feature missing. It's not a bug, but it feels like one.
Sometimes I need to make changes in system prompts. For example our sales teams (different countries on same pbx) don't want to use the standard prompt "QUEUE_UNATT".
For changes I take a copy from the prompts for each country and change only in this modified prompts.
Now the problem is, at the time I make these changes, the "active" system prompts language changes to the one, that I make changes to.
Normally our 3CXs language is German. Today I had to change something in the Italian system prompts and at this time, some colleagues had a audio meeting. When they joined the meeting, suddenly they hear a Italian voice, that they don't understand.

I'm not able to write feature requests anymore and I think that's a pity, because in our company we use 3CX, I'm the only one administrating it and I do nearly everything on my own.
That's why I create this issue here and maybe you can add a feature request instead, for a feature, where I can set the standard system prompts, that are not affected, during I make changes on other prompts in another language.

Another nice thing would be to take changes live without having to restart any service. Maybe just a little button or something, where running calls are not affected like they are at a service restart.

Thank you. Hope you can understand this correctly.

Hi there!

I think I understand, basically you are saying that in order to make changes to one of the promptsets, in order to make the changes, you must first set it as the default system promptset, make then changes you want, then re-select the default system promptset you want again.

You are right, but, the idea when making this choice is that promptsets should be modified outside of office hours so that this does not happen.
If you don't want to do this, prepare the .wav file to have it ready, then all you need to do is:
  1. Switch to the promptset you want
  2. Upload file
  3. Switch back the prompset
All together a few seconds.

I don't think this is a big enough problem to be something that would be picked out of the ideas forum quite frankly.

If you think so. What a pity
