Changing CallerID with 3CXPhone API

We are currently using the 3CXPhone API to make calls and as part of this we want to change the CallerID associated with the number we are dialling. Is this possible?

The only way to do this is changing the "Outbound Caller ID" parameter for the extension you're using to make the call (that is done using the 3CX Call Control API), and then configuring your SIP Trunk to take the number from there.

Please note that the 3CX Call Control API can only be used from the 3CX server, so you can't do that from the 3CXPhone plugin. You will need a separate process to do it, running in the 3CX server, and communicate from the plugin with it...
