Solved Changing default port 5001 to 443?

Hi,

I had to reinstall my 3cx pbx last week, and restore a backup of it.

Originally my 3cx web console was using https://xxxxx.west.3cx.us as the url, but after the re-install, everything change to https://xxxxx.west.3cx.us:5001 (port 5001).

What do I need to do to change everything back to port 443? I search my config and attach is what I see that is bound to port 5001. Should I change everything listed from 5001 to 443?

Seems like you know the answer already. If you had it on one port and reinstalling it changed the port, guess how you change it back?

I'm just making sure that I won't mess any critical URLS that depends on port 5001 that I shouldn't be touching. So you're saying that I can literally change everything on that config page from 5001 to 443? I did not know what the original config looked like so that's why I'm asking. Thank you for your help!

No you take a backup and then restore and pick the port you want during the restore. 3CX will correct the URLs

Thanks. I already did it. I don't recall it ever asking what port to install last time I used the command line. I search the forum and found out that only the PBX Express install defaults the installation to 443 and command line installs at 5001. So I had to reinstall it on another Amazon Lightsail box and restore the backup after I updated to the recent version.

Everything back to normal now.
