Changing extension length

Hi all
I have a question like on topic. I want to change my extension lenght from 3 to 4 digit. Is that possible, if yes - how?

From memory... NO.

YOu setup the extension lenght when you install the software (this might have changed with later versions).

It is not advisable to make changes in the db either, best to re-install the software from scratch. But lets see what others say about that.

Good guess , see page 16 of the user manual, that is where you set your extension length.

I just use brute force most of the time, and it works LOL.

You actually can change the extensions, but you have to dig in the DB and that is messy. I remember doing it with version 2 or something like that. Its been a while since I been playing with 3CX.
