Using the latest version of 3CX with Flowroute.

If I change the main line, is it just a matter of updating it under 3CX > Sip Trunk > Route Calls to > Main Trunk No?

Or is there more to it?

Define "change the main line". Do you mean adding another trunk, then directing outbound calls to that?

No. Same Sip Trunk (Flowroute). We are porting our main phone number to it from another vendor and phone system.

In that case, the existing SIP trunk would remain as is. You are simply having an additional DID (the ported number) added for incoming. You will have to create a DID rule if you don't already have one. for outgoing the existing trunk will either "send" the number defined in that trunk settings, or as set against each extension (outbound caller ID). Changing that in the trunk settings may have consequences, as I assume that everything else, to do with the existing trunk is to remain in place. You may have to contact your provider if you experience problems.

Thank you. I can definitely add an inbound DID rule for the main number.
Could I also edit the current DID rule--which is using a temp number purchased just for 3CX testing--to use the main ported number instead? Is it going to break something if I do that instead of adding a new DID rule for the ported number?
