Hi

I've got about 90 phones from one cloud-hosted 3CX to another with 3 digit extensions instead of 2.

Is there a way to send a new provisioning URL to all the phones currently in the "old" 3CX, so they register to the new? Obviously doing it one by one will take a lot of time.

Thanks in advance.

First off, I have to ask, do you have more than one IP Phones on each remote site? If yes, I'd highly recommend using the 3CX SBC instead of STUN configuration. Using the 3CX SBC will allow you to simply factory the IP Phones and then provision them to the new PBX via PnP which is as simply as going to the "Phones" section and then assigning each IP Phone to the corresponding extension.

In addition you'll be benefiting from the fact that the 3CX SBC does not require firewall configuration on the remote site and the extra security layer provided by the 3CX Tunnel. On the downside you would need a machine to host the 3CX SBC, but this could merely be a Raspberry Pi.

Attempting to re-provisioning IP Phones that are already provisioned to another PBX without factory resetting them first is not recommended. This will not be possible especially since you will end up with a different provisioning folder (random chars) on the new PBX that will no longer match the one in the IP Phones provisioning link.

No.

I recommend getting an SBC, reconfiguring your extensions to use the SBC and then use DHCP option 66 at the remote site to provision the phones once they've been factory reset.

As above - install a SBC server on the phone network - it will make life some much easier
