Solved Changing the status of a User via Web Client, the user disappears.

I created several extensions that are only used for call routing purposes, the cleint has 3 companies they need to control routing for. I configured the users to route based on status. The client doenst want 6 buttons on the phones, and wants to control the status via WebClient. When in "Available" state, they are visable on the webcleint, when you change them to Away or DND, they disappear from the webclient, and you have to use management console to change it back to Available.

Any ideas on how to stop this from happening? SO they remain on the webcleint screen no matter their state?

Regarding your question and extensions being visible to others in their webclients, please note that they will only be visible if registered, and assuming they are visible when in the available status and do not have any phones/webclients/mobile app registered to them, means that you have checked the options ring my mobile simultaneously under the forwarding rules of the extensions settings, for the available status. Then when switching the profile to DND or Away, deregisters the extension, so they disappear. You also have an option in the webclient to show unregistered extensions. Still, remember that this will not show the presence information of these extensions, as in that they are in DND or AWAY. Still, they will be visible and shown as unregistered and be able to change their statuses from webclients with the receptionist right within the same extension group.

you are correct in everything you stated. I forgot about the unregistered option, that is better than nothing. Its not ideal, but will have to work. Thank you for reminding me of that.
