Changing Voice Mail Menu Extension System Number

Can you change the Voice Mail Menu Extension System number and if so how?

Login to your 3CX Management Console.

1. Click on settings
2. Click on general
3. Bottom box Voice Mail Menu

This will allow you to change the number of the Voice Mail Menu Extension Number

I tried that but it seems I need to add another System Extension for voice mail and I don't know how to do that.

Click in the Systems Extensions Status tab and see if you have a SpecialMenu extension.

They are no tabs for changing special extensions

What version of 3CX are you currently running?

Should already have the voicemail extension and able to change it with the directions I have given. Only issue I had while testing 3CX 8 free version was the MWI. Depending on how many digits you are using I believe the default is 99 (for 2 digit extension) for 3 digit 999 I would think.
