Chaning Sendername/address and confirmation request

Hello,

we want to change the sender name/mailaddress to the organisator of the webmeeting.

i have tried a few things, but nothing work, so that working with webmeetings is not terrible.
we want to send directly through our mailserver or ober 3cx smtp server. Not anything like download the ical an then send the mails with client...

as well we want to add the option for this invitations the the receiver of this mail has to confirm this, so that the organisator get back an info!

and the answere that 3cx can not do things like that (this is a default function) is not an option.

Hi @d.stratmann I will attempt to elaborate a bit on why this is so, and hopefully it will make it easier to understand the reasoning.

The answer you received is correct. The function that you want is actually the job of a Calendar app.

Neither 3CX nor a mail server is responsible for Calendar management, this is done entirely independently in client apps like Outlook for example.

So the only solution for you is to generate an iCal file, load it into your Outlook, and create a meeting request. When you send that request out from your own email, then the replies from your guests will also return to your own email and you will be informed. By the way, it's the exact same logic as if you were scheduling a in-person meeting in your office with your colleagues, the only difference is that instead of meeting in person, you include a clickable link that takes you on a web meeting platform.
