Had a user report that when they picked up a call in a ring group, there would be nobody there, but the other phones in the group would ring, so they'd run over to that desk to pick it up, and nobody would be there. They had to do that to 4 phones before they finally got the person on the other end of the call.

This is on the newest alpha release, cloud hosted, debian install.

The way the call flow goes is caller calls in -> ring group for 30sec, ring all -> goes to auto attendant where they can press 1 for dept a 2 for dept b 3 for dept c.

STUN or SBC?

We have dozens of sites setup like this. Same router/switch/etc, all setup to use non-conflicting ports under the phone provisioning tab in 3cx.

Still. STUN is for home offices. Issues can arise anytime anywhere, even with the same hardware.

Thus, SBC is recommended. If you followed all the STUN requirements (different ports and those are forwarded in the firewall and "PBX Delivers Audio" is enabled), then there's nothing more to do.

I'd have to agree with Frederick, if you have more than one IP Phone on a single remote site then the 3CX SBC would be the way to go for a trouble-free experience.
