Gives me not a name filled in when asked for name and email to start the chat.

but just shows : Hello %NAME% How can we help you today?

Do I do something wrong ?

This should work, when in non-popup mode, but which version of the WP live chat are you using, the latest is Version 9.2.1.

It's just the wording, if you can hang in there for a little while longer the next update will address this.

Yes, the issue is the same if you have used the 3CX Code Generator.
That will also be fixed in the next update.
