Chat opens in a new window, not a pop-up

Hello, since I have integrated Live Chat (wordpress) with your 3CX mobile application, the live chat opens in a new window, and not as a pop-up within the same page. Is there a way to make the chat pop-up again? In the settings I don't see the way to do it

Even adding popout="false" to the code it opens in a new window.

No this is not possible.
The only supported mode at the moment is popout.

We will keep you update in regards to our future plans for adding persistency on chat sessions, which will solve the problem of opening to new window.

is this persistency of chat part of the v18 release, future release or even independent of the PBX release? We would like to have embedded chat without a new window.

Now chatting within the pop-up window is available only to WP users, and for non-WP sites, the chat opens in a separate window, which is not very convenient.

I also vote for this feature so that the chat is available in sefl-popup and the setting is done by adding just one line of script to the site code (in header), as is done in third-party online chat solutions.

In both cases, WP or non-WP the chat open up in a pop-out window when the configuration points to 3CX PBX.
New features are coming for the live chat, so stay tuned.

Hi, not sure if this thread is still open. When in hosted PBX mode, the chatbox is not popped out, but stays in the page (important for small mobile screen display). The script used for this is below:

This script is slightly different than the script generated by the Code Generator.

When using the Code Generator script, the chatbox pops out. I hope this helps finding the correct behavior.
