Chat shows xxx unread messages but they're all read

[Alphabetic]

I've got a group chat which tells me there are over 300 unread messages.

I've scrolled through this chat on Firefox, Chrome and 3CX app and they wont mark as read.

Other EXT in this chat dont have this.

3CX verison 16.0.655

I'm facing the same problem. All workers having been in vacation for more than 10 day can't get rid of this notification in a group chat, which was regularly used in their absence.
