ChatGPT has come a long way since then, recently releasing its real-time API back in October 2024. You can now use it for real-time phone conversations without needing to convert between speech to text and back, as you can read here: https://www.twilio.com/en-us/blog/voice-ai-assistant-openai-realtime-api-node
While it is possible to set up a dedicated machine to set up a session when it receives an incoming call, it would be useful to have this bundled into 3CX. I can see big things happening with this.
