Is there some way to have the hotdesking templates show a login button that would then prompt for the extension and then the PIN?

This would be cleaner than having folks dial
Code:
*77*xxx*, but *77 and *77*
on their own don't present any such prompt.

What phones are you using.

I understood that the templates programmed BLF keys with hotdesking login / logout buttons

Only logout from my tests.

You can change the dialcode in the Settings but I would recommend keeping it that way.

I agree tho that a login prompt would be easier to use. Usage of the built-in hotdesking prompts on IP phones could help (Grandstream don't, even if the phone has a Public Mode available).

My mistake, no login blf key - you have to use the dial code
