Good morning all
I was just putting my christmas out of office wav files live on our 3cx system and found that only some of them are saving properly - I will try to explain:

we have 6 businesses in the same system and we use dummy extensions for out of hours to record messages and to allow voicemails to be left.
I had someone in the office create 6 wav files for each business
I have gone into the extension for each business and uploaded the new wav file. it shows and allows me to save.

However, only 3 of the businesses have correctly save so that when you ring the main trunk number, it plays the correct message - the other 3 businesses still play the original wav file instead of the new one?

I cannot understand why 3 would work correctly and the next 3 do not. We had a similar occurence in the summer but i got round that by renaming the original to 'old' and adding the new one with the same name as the original

this seems buggy to the max to me! I wondered if anyone else has experienced this as i doubt renaming them for some businesses is necessary? Something is either wrong in my setup or this bug hasn't been spotted before

I can get around this but renaming the wav files as before, but thought i would ask the experts here if they have seen the same thing when running more than 1 business and having multiple messages to edit.

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas 3cx community

Have you looked at the Activity Log, to see exactly how each of the calls is routing? Compared each of the businesses? They may not be going to the destinations that you think they are.
