Chrome - 3CX Click to Call Greyed Out

Hi Guys,

Is the Chrome extensions click to call down or not working?

I'm unable to use it in Chrome but can in Firefox.

It should work for both browsers as i have tested on my PC and they are indeed working. What PBX version are you running and what version is your Chrome browser?

I'm using 67.0.3396.99 and PBX is 15.5.13013.5 with Pro key.

What is the issue exactly? Are the numbers recognised by the extension but are not clickable or can you click on them but are not copied to the 3CX client? Did you allow the extension to run the first time it was used?

3CX Icon is greyed out in Chrome.

When i click a number it opens up something called Google Hangouts

On the 3CX icon top right within Chrome, click on in the icon and select options

Is 'Enable Click to Call' enabled ?

Call via is configured correctly - 3CX Web Client or 3CX Client for Windows

Have you tried removing the 3CX Client to Call extension within Chrome and reinstalling it

I only installed the add on today and it is enabled.

Seems a little odd because the same thing occured when I was at a customers site yesterday and i installed the add on.

I have done some extensive testing on this. It will work properly in Chrome only if you are not logged in to any of Google's services. This problem only occurs on Google provided content in the Google Chrome browser. If you are signed in and on any other site, not provided by Google, the links will work properly and dial via 3CX. If you want the phone number links to work properly in the Google search results, the user will have to sign out of their Google account. I believe that this is controlled by the Chrome browser and I was unable to find any way to prevent it, other than how I mentioned above. I hope this makes sense
