Chrome Extension not connected, no popup but working somewhat

Hi, after moving a trial server to another server and reprovisioning the phones, we have weird behavior of the extension. Not sure it is related to the move, as the day before the 3cx server was upgraded.

The little phone icon is shown grey and not connected. There is no popup as before. There was no question to activate the client from the windows client.

When clicking on a phone number, a chrome pop up is asking whether 3cxPhone for Windows should dial or my mobile. When clicking 3cxPhone for Windows the number is transferred to the Windows client, with some extra numbers in front of it. I also would like to get rid of the question to dial through my mobile.

The extension has version 3.0.1.70

Hello @PvK ,

Try to open the WebClient and on the upper left corner you should get the Activate your Browser Extension or Reactivate your Browser Extension prompt.

Thanks, I was looking in the Windows app. It now works again.

Why are there two apps? The popup is not needed when you have the Windows app. I find that confusing.

The popup that you get to choose among the apps when you click on a phone number is due to tel protocol and how it is treated on browser
