Unsupported Cisco 6941 Example Config

Does anyone have a working Cisco 6941 config?

I tried to use this https://en.58voip.com/convert-cisco-6921-6941-6961-phone-sccp-sip-protocol/ but it does not work.
I get "Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req REGISTER from"

I also tried this https://www.emetrotel.com/tsd/conte...ccp-skinny-call-control-protocol-sip-protocol but it had a similar issue.

I am able to get a SIP firmware to install and the phone does download the config from my tftp server but the phone does not register.
Testing adding a 7941 to a ext in 3cx and modify that config but it did not work.

I know this phone is not supported but I have 100's that are wall mounted and just need the most basic function and paging ability.

I had this error once also "Authorization system can not identify source of: UnkSrc Recv Req REFER from"

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This has a link to a SEP file, that you might be able to modify, to work. If you search for posts using the phone with Asterisk, you will likely find a lot more information on workable configuration files. I doubt that many are still attempting to use these phones with 3CX.

Are the sets on the same LAN as 3CX? If not, then you will probably have some issues.

One of the issues may be, that while many devices allow you to enter a user ID (extension number), SIP password, and Auth ID , required by more recent versions of 3CX, this set may not. It's been a while since I crafted a config file for a Cisco set, and, at the time, the extension number and SIP password, were all that was required.

Thank you for your help. Our 3cx is hosted on Google Cloud, phones are on a local LAN with no SBC.

It looks like the phone does not send the username. I added a ext to test with and made the username a 3 digit number to see if the auto generated one is the issue and I still have the same problem.

I hate to give up because it worked in the past but I lost the config.

As I recall, most Cisco business sets of the same vintage don't support STUN (most of these sets were designed with a local server in mind)., which may cause some problems, as the set may be attempting to register using a private IP, check the Activity Log.

If I were attempting this, I'd see if it first worked on a locally hosted server (R Pi?), before attempting to get it to work on a remote server.
