cisco 7940 and 7960

Anyone converted the cisco 7940 to SIP? i have the following files

p0S3-08-2-00.zip
SEP(Macaddress).cnf.xml
SIP(Macaddress).cnf
SIPDefault.cnf
XMLDefault.cnf.xml
CTL(Macaddress).tlv - can anyone provide me the right content of this file?

the issue is the TFTP server is continuously loading the firmware. can anyone provide the right setup for this phone?
i followed the 3cx steps to convert but failed.

can you post details for some of the files? or links? Also, you do not need that .tlv file.. We currently have 10 7940G's that we set up and converted from SCCP to SIP..

Hi

I have just bought a Cisco 7940G phone from ebay and the seller has forwarded me the SIP firmware files. However I have followed the 3CX procedures and I too cannot get it to work properly. The Pumpkin TFTP server says it failed to find the file SEPMacaddress.cnf.xml and I have not got this file. I noticed you have this file. Any chance of pasting a generic copy of the file so I can doctor it to get it to work? As soon as I get this fixed I have promised to buy two more phones from the seller (who has a Cisco Account to allow him to download the firmware).

I am desperate to get this to work because I am donating it to a charity where I am installing the entire computer infrastructure and I have only just discovered 3CX. I had no trouble with a Yealink phone I bought off ebay which worked within 30 seconds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
