Hello,

I know there was an old issue with 3CX and Cisco IP Phones phones concerning the limitation to light up MWI on the phones when an email is received. Is this limitation still there or the 3CX team solved it?
If it is now resolved, how can I configure MWI to work then?

Which specific model Cisco phones are you asking about? Features/options/provisioning can vary greatly from model to model.

We used 2 different Cisco 7912 IP Phone Sets on CUCUM 8.6.
3CX and CUCM were connected through a SIP trunk. Also the IP Phones were registered to CUCM not 3CX. They were running Cisco Skinny too not SIP firmware.

All features of 3CX works just fine. The problem is that when receiving a voice mail the MWI never lights up.

If the voicemail is being saved in a 3CX mailbox, and the set is a part of a Cisco CUCUM, then no, the MWI on the sets will not notify of a message left in the other systems mailbox.. To do that would require a datalink between the two systems, specifically for this purpose, which is not available. The interconnection of the two systems will only allow voice calls. You would have to move the sets to 3CX, if they can be converted to SIP, and are compatible.

This is not even possible using two 3CX PBXs and bridge trunks.
