Client v6.0.567 Too Many Authentication Attempts

The client needs to have some sort of timeout when authentication fails against the server. It looks to me that the client will attempt to authenticate 3-4 times a second and will not stop or timeout. I would recommend something like after three failed attempts is will not try again without user interaction.
