Hello,

Having quite a bit of difficulty.

No clients can connect to the server. Server seems to be up, with all services running. Can get into web client just fine, if I use the actual IP of the server. 3cx provided DDNS doesnt seem to be working. Resolves to correct IP address using web based DNS tools, but not on our network.

Remote clients cannot connect, even with account info changed to direct IP instead of DNS.

Clients show as registering in the the event log, but will never actually connect on the remote end.

Server is run on Google Cloud. Version 15.5.0

Please Help! :)

If you see a log of an attempted registration, then there should be a reason (error message) as to why it is not successful, as your post suggests.

Is this a new install? Did you successfully run the 3CX Firewall Checker? If the sets are remote, has the option to allow each extension to connect remotely been selected for each extension (you have to un-tick the option)?

As above, you probably need to untick ‘allow remote extension’

If you cannot resolve the FQDN with your DNS then you will not be able to connect to the server. Make sure that you can correctly resolve the FQDN (try using google DNS on a machine and try). Once you do the clients will connect to the server.
