CLOUD Manual Yealink setup

Can anyone guide me please - have just signed up for trying the CLOUD based 3CX but, for this trial, will be using 2 or 3 Yealink T26's which will need manual configuration

I hoped all I would have to do is change the SIP Server 1Host IP address (local windowds pc) to the IP address gerated with the CLOUD installation

Why are you trying to manually config the phones ?

Ah thank you. Thought that as the T26 were end of lfe there wasn't a provisioning template - i'll have a go. Much appreciated

Just keep in mind that there is a limitation with the T26

You may need to go to your PBX Settings > Security and disable SSL/SecureSIP Transport and Ciphers

Otherwise when the phone tries to reach the PBX on HTTPS to get the provisioning config, it will not be able to negotiate a secure connection and provisioning will fail.

Ensure that the phone uses the specific firmware that we have here otherwise it may not be able to do HTTPS at all https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/

Thank you John. I'll keep that n mind. I found a T23G while looking for the T26 so I started with that one and, despite one or two hiccups made a successful connection to the Cloud. Much appreciate the replies i've had.
